Liabilities:
- You will be asked to pay the booking deposit (25% of the total) through bank transfer.
- In the moment of the check in and after the client checks the characteristics of the apartment he/she will be asked to pay the reminder.
- A damage deposit of 150€ can be asked in the moment of check-in. It will be fully returned in the check out if there are no damages.
- The expenses concerning the international transfer are supported by the client.
- Please note that the booking is not confirmed until the prepayment is received and after you receive the booking confirmation by email.
- Please print a copy of the email to bring with you; it has all the information that you need on arrival.
Cancellation policy:
- Cancellation with more than 30 days before arrival - 90% refund.
- Cancellation with more than 15 days you have to pay 30% of your stay.
- Cancellation with less than 15 days before arrival - no refund.
Please bear in mind that all the expenses concerning the refund will be supported by you.
Check-in and check-out:
- Check-in is after 14.30 PM
- Check-out is until 11 AM
- Check-in between 9h30 PM and 8 AM will be charged with extra 20euros.
- You will be asked for your ID card or passport when you check in the apartment.
Cleaning and maintenance:
- The apartment will be cleaned prior to the arrival of each client.
- When leaving, the apartment should be in a reasonable condition.
Number of guests:
- You must inform the owner about the number and age of the guests.
- The number of person for this apartment is 4 (double-bed and double-sofa bed). In extraordinary cases we could accept 5 (single sofa-bed).
Behaviour:
- The client signing the check-in form will be liable for the correct and decent behaviour of all the persons accompanying him/her, and specifically avoiding any activity that is against any law or health policy.
- Don’t forget that you are going to stay in residential buildings. Guests staying in Chiado Apartment should know that if parties or loud music are heard, or neighbours complain and/or police is called, it can result in immediate eviction. This will also result in loss of prepaid rent.
- Quiet time is from 10 PM to 10 AM. We are sure that you understand that the nightly rest of other inhabitants must be respected.
Liabilities:
- The owner of the apartment shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use of the apartment by the guests, including, damages, insurance, robbery, criminal behaviour or inappropriate use of equipment for elderly, handicapped people or lack of children safety features. They are also not responsible for outages on the part of the local utilities providers (gas, electricity, water, telephone or internet).
- Please do not leave any electric device turned on when you leave the apartments and pay attention to gas devices while you are in or outside the apartments.
- The letting of this apartment is intended solely for short term residential purposes of a special transitory nature – specifically self catering accommodation – in accordance with article 1095º, nº 3 of the Portuguese Civil Code. In no way does it constitute an offering of tourist lodging within a tourist complex as contemplated in Decree Law nº 167/97, altered and republished in Decree Law 55/2002 of 11/03
- Any situation not stated here will be decided according to common sense.
